EQUIPMENT FOUNDATIONS
Dynamic equipment and machinery with reciprocating, rotating, impulsive, or impact aspects require a monolithic structure to resist forces and vibrations. It is generally recommended that the concrete be constructed by ACI 318 and a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 psi (28 MPa) in 28 days, among other specifications. Epoxy grout is the critical component of the foundation system that enables the transfer of energy from the equipment to the foundation and sub-soil.
Our offerings provide a unique baseplate solution for harsh environments and a specialized concrete for scheduling constraints. The polymer composite baseplates meet ANSI, ASME, and PIP standards, resists corrosion, and improves the damping ratio (compared to steel, cast iron, & granite). The HTC-5000 concrete provides project schedule flexibly by allowing epoxy grout to be poured in 3 days, rather than 28.
