Acura Bolt – Tension Monitoring Bolt - ASTM A193 4140 Grade B7

Traditional bolting methods fall short of delivering accurate preloads to achieve properly bolted surfaces. Manufactured by Sparks Maintenance Contracting, the ASTM A193 Grade B7 bolt meets the specifications for high temperature, high pressures service, and other special purpose applications.  We recommend this all thread bolting solution for many types of compressors, pumps, and other dynamic or critical machinery anchoring situations.  The Acura Bolt assembly includes a load indicator pin, which reveals the tension load applied to the application within 5%.  This visual and wrenchless indicator helps eliminate the need for untorquing and retorquing all the bolts for maintenance.  Furthermore, the 5% desired accuracy is better than the 25% accuracy with a torque wrench.
